Controller

Controller: Jacopo Sala, Vigevano, Italy. Privacy and GDPR requests can be sent to jacoposala97@gmail.com or made by phone at (+39) 3333664446.

Scope

This notice covers the curated static website pages and local assets served from this project. The linked interactive application and external sites provide or require their own deployment-specific notices.

Data Categories

  • Browser requests for pages, dashboards, images, video, scripts, and stylesheets.
  • Technical log data that a deployment host may receive, such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and security events.
  • A local browser-storage record of the visitor's privacy choice.
  • Optional analytics or third-party embed preferences, currently stored only for future consent-aware code.

Purposes

  • Deliver the website and dashboards.
  • Maintain security, availability, abuse prevention, and debugging logs through the chosen host.
  • Remember the privacy preference so the notice does not reappear unnecessarily.
  • Enable future aggregated analytics or third-party embeds only if the visitor consents first.

Legal Basis

  • Strictly necessary website delivery and preference storage.
  • Legitimate interests for security, integrity, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention logs.
  • Consent for optional analytics and optional external media, if such features are enabled later.

Retention

The privacy preference remains in the visitor's browser until it is changed, reset, or local storage is cleared. Host-side access-log retention depends on the deployment provider and should be configured and documented before publication.

Sharing

The consent code does not transmit data to third parties. A deployment host may process technical request data. External links to EUR-Lex, data providers, GitHub, or other services are governed by those services when opened.

International Transfers

Transfers depend on the selected host and any external services opened by the visitor. If the project is publicly deployed, record the hosting provider, regions, safeguards, and subprocessors here.

Rights

Where GDPR applies, visitors may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent by contacting Jacopo Sala at jacoposala97@gmail.com. Visitors may also complain to their competent data protection authority.

Withdrawal

The Privacy button at the lower-left corner reopens the choices panel at any time. Selecting essential only refuses optional categories and does not block access to the research website.
